What I Experienced: During my time here i delivered the fresh bread to local businesses around the area, ranging form Exeter, all the way to Teignmouth. i really enjoyed dropping off the bread as many of the shop keepers would love to chat and provide me with a steaming mug of coffee for the journey.

About My Time at Teign Valley Bakery:

I really enjoyed working for the local bakery, as both Hugo and Justine were very genuine people. My work for the bakery came around initially when my younger brother, who works at the bakery told Hugo that I could drive and when one of the other drivers was ill I was given a month of part time work. From the work I gained an understanding of timing, as you needed to make sure all the bread was baked, with enough time for it to cool before delivering it, but not to much time for the bread to loose its freshness.

AS a result for working for Hugo , him and his family went of holiday and asked if i would look after their dogs for them, whilst delivering the bread. so this meant getting up at 6:30 and walking the dogs in the morning, then making my way to the bakery and delivering the bread, after which i returned to the dogs and fed them. This was a lot of fun as I love dogs and being trusted with someone else dogs and house, turned out to be very rewarding.
