How Long?: Any available time whilst in Education. Paid work from August 2012 after A Levels

​What I Experienced: Manual Work, ranging from feeding sheep, lambing ewes to felling trees and helping laying concrete.



About My Time at Weir Park Farm: 

Weir Park Farm, my family home farm. I have spend most of my upbringing helping on the farm, with what ever is going on. From the age where I was practically helpful, I was trying to help my dad and mum complete activities on the farm, weather that being outside manual work or inside the office helping with the accounts. As I have grown up and matured I have been given more jobs requiring a responsible attitude towards the task, such as trailing sheep to ground away from the farm.



I help out the most in the months before, during and after the lambing season, where i find myself a lot of the time demonstrating lambing procedures to first year vets, that come to out farm to learn and experience the activities at lambing time.
